The 2008 Basketball Academy Highlights
Your opportunity to be an important part of this NCAA certified event!
Saturday, July 5th to Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

  • This is not an "All Star Camp."  It is an event designed to showcase your talents within a team concept the way the game was intended to be played.
     

  • Colleges from these conferences attended last summer:  Pacific 10, Big 10, Big 12, USA, Southeastern (SEC), Mid Continent, Sun Belt, Big Sky, Big West, Atlantic 10, Missouri Valley, Ivy League, Big South, Ohio Valley, Southwestern Athletic, ACC, Mountain West, Mid American, Western Athletic, and many more D-1 members.
     

  • New pro style uniforms furnished by Nike.
     

  • Presentations to empower you with self confidence, integrity, academics, education, and personal wellness.
     

  • A snack/meal provided every night.  You eat four times a day!!!
     

  • Players from 28 states and Canada attended 2006.
     

  • T-shirts, shorts, and playing jersey are all provided during camp and are laundered every evening.
     

  • The BEST NCAA mandatory educational session provided by any camp anywhere in the country!!
     

  • Certified event for college coaches during the "live" July period with over 160 college coaches attending 2006.
     

  • A great staff of high school coaches filled with instruction and enthusiasm.
     

  • All games refereed by certified high school and college officials.
     

  • This is a strenuous and physically demanding event, be in shape to have a great time!!
     

  • The Basketball Academy is one of three free camps in the United States.
     

  • Former attendees have been NCAA scoring leaders, McDonald's game participants, top 5 NBA draft choices, and a 2001 NBA rookie of the year.
     

  • The last four years there have been between 72% and 78% of participants been offered college scholarships by September 1st!!!
