NCAA certified events

• The Basketball Abstract - published five times a year by Tom Tietze (ttietze@kc.rr.com).  Prep scouting service with evaluations and analysis on high school players all over the USA.  Subscribed to by hundreds of Colleges and Universities across the country.  Purchased by College coaches only.  The accurate reference and not hype.
   

• The Basketball Academy, July 5-8, 2008, Atchison, Kansas.  Invitation only - no cost to any attendee (except transportation.  We will pick up at the airport).  Very limited enrollment.  We do hoops, teaching, speakers, 16 1/2 hours a day.  Meals served 4 times a day!  One of three no cost events in July 2007.  "The" best kept secret that all the college coaches know about!! 
   

• The Honda Summer Classic, July 12-15, 2008, Mid America Sports Complex, Shawnee, Kansas.  USSSA, 40-48 teams.  Low cost entry fee $400.  Inexpensive hotel package with breakfast provided.  17's - 16's - 15's.
   

• The Power Ade End-of-Summer Classic, July 28-31, Mid America Sports Complex, Shawnee, Kansas.  USSSA, 40-50 teams.  Low cost entry fee $400.  Over 160 college coaches in attendance.  Great hotel and van rates.   17's - 16's - 15's.
   

• The Price Chopper/KC Prep Invitational, July 28-31, Mid-America Sports Complex, Shawnee, Kansas.  USSSA.  The best tournament in the country under one roof.  No entry fee.

* Players - make sure your summer coach has a NCAA approval number for all events that you participate in July.
